Educating the Third Child – a project of ETMA was started with the objective of identifying and supporting young students who perform very well overcoming barriers of difficult circumstances with scholarships. The scholarship started in the year 2008. Due to poverty, these scholars are unable to pursue their studies further. Usually, these children are sons or daughters of farm labourers or daily wage earners or in some cases have a single parent that is a mother or father earning less than Rs. 5000/ a month.
