Educating the 3 rd Child

Educating the Third Child – a project of ETMA was started with the objective of identifying and supporting young students who perform very well overcoming barriers of difficult circumstances with scholarships. The scholarship started in the year 2008. More than 40 brilliant students have benefitted from ETMA’s Personal Social Responsibility (PSR) programme so far. Some of them completed post-graduation and are pursuing doctoral programmes from IITs (Kanpur, Kharagpur, Mumbai), Indian Statistical Institute, New Delhi, and Centre for Biomedical Research (Lucknow). Funds for the scholarships are generated through personal donations by members of the ETMA family and friends.
